Cancellation Policy
  • Up To 15 days prior to program start date, refund in full.
  • 7 - 14 days prior to program start date, $100.00 cancellation fee.
  • Less than 7 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment.
      Program Material Policy

Beginning 4 weeks before the offering start date, program material will be shipped directly to the student. If this material has been shipped and you request a registration cancellation, you will automatically be charged a $25.00 fee and you may keep the material. Once the fee is charged, your refund will be processed. Material returns are no longer accepted. Contact the offering sponsor for more information.

Official start date of the program is when the online session begins. It is mandatory that this session be completed. The first two hours introduce you to and prepare you for the traditional synchronous sessions that follow. If it is not completed, you will not receive credit for or pass the course.

To access the online session, sign in at www.appraisalinstitute.org and in your “My Appraisal Institute” section, locate the session and click [GO TO ONLINE COMPONENT].

Continuing Education Credit
This course is approved for thirty five (35) hours of Appraisal Institute continuing education credit. This course might not be approved in all states by the offering date. Please check with your state board for state approval information.

Cancellations
This confirmation will serve as your receipt. All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Confirmed students should not assume that cancellation has been granted until a confirmation has been received.

The Appraisal Institute reserves the rights to cancel, limit, or reschedule the seminar and to change faculty assignments and facility locations at any time.



Program materials can be downloaded by the student or can be shipped directly to the student. If you choose to have the material shipped and do not receive your materials within 5 days before the offering start date, please call the sponsor to inform them.

  • Online session available 28 days before synchronous session begins on Monday, August 26, 2019.
  • Diagnostic test "Pass" grade 14 days before synchronous session begins no later than Monday, September 9, 2019.
  • Registration deadline to receive a printed set of the course materials is 14 days before the synchronous session begins on Monday, September 9, 2019.
  • Registration deadline to receive a digital/downloaded set of the course materials is 5 days before the synchronous session begins on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
  • FINAL registration deadline 5 days before the synchronous session on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
  • Online session ends 2 days before the synchronous session begins on Saturday, September 21, 2019
  • Synchronous sessions begin on Monday, September 23, 2019
  • Synchronous sessions end on Thursday, October 3, 2019
  • The exam is taken offline at a Pearson testing center.
Class Schedule:
To accommodate students across the United States, class begins each morning at 10:00 AM Central (8:00 AM Pacific time, 9:00 AM Mountain, 11:00 PM Eastern). Each class runs for four (4) hours each day with at least two breaks during that time. The course runs for eight (8) half-days over two weeks as follows.

  • Day 1: Monday, September 23: 10:00 am - 2:00pm pm
  • Day 2: Tuesday, September 24: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Day 3: Wednesday, September 25: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Day 4: Thursday, September 26: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

    (No class on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)

  • Day 5: Monday, September 30: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Day 6: Tuesday, October 1: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Day 7: Wednesday, October 2: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Day 8: Thursday, October 3: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Attendance Policy:
The Appraisal Institute issues certificates for state certification/licensing or state continuing education credit that verify successful completion and attendance of 100% with your grade notification letter. Please note, if Appraisal Institute attendance records indicate attendance of less than 100%, the student certificate will reflect this and state agencies may refuse to award credit.
