This four-day course will introduce you to real property concepts and characteristics, legal considerations, influences on real estate values, types of value, economic principles, market area analysis, highest and best use, and ethical considerations.

The course should provide a solid foundation in basic appraisal principles no matter what appraisal specialty you pursue.

By successfully completing the course and exam, you will have met most states' education requirements in the content area identified as basic appraisal principles.

The North Star Chapter reserves the rights to cancel, limit, or reschedule this event if the minimum enrollment level is not reached, and to change faculty assignments and facility locations at any time. Prospective students should confirm their registration with the Chapter office before making any nonrefundable airline reservations.

Note: Program materials can be downloaded by the student or can be shipped directly to the student. If you elect to DOWNLOAD the material and save $15.00, you must bring a copy of this Student Handbook material to class with you. There will be no handbooks available for you.

ATTENDANCE POLICY:
To receive credit, 100% attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. Students should not be late or leave early; if they are late or leave early, they will not receive credit. The Minnesota Commerce Department requires 100% attendance of the classroom time. Partial credit is not awarded.
