This event seeks to keep all real estate professionals, from developers to attorneys and valuation experts, current to the changing dynamics of the real estate market – with e-commerce impacting all real estate types and end users. These changes can impact values in a positive or negative way and it is pertinent that all professionals understand these changes. A “must attend” for all in the industry.

Our keynote speaker will be Garrick Brown, Vice President, Retail Intelligence at Cushman & Wakefield. He speaks frequently at industry events and is regularly quoted by the Wall Street Journal, the CBS Evening News, CNBC, National Public Radio, and dozens of business journals and other industry publications.

This event promises to be a lively discussion of how e-commerce is impacting the many facets of the real estate world—with changes to the way we live, work and shop! With both public and private market participants, the forum will appeal to a broad range of the real estate community.

Cancellation Policy
  • Up To 15 days prior to program start date, $25.00 cancellation fee.
  • 7 - 14 days prior to program start date, $50.00 cancellation fee.
  • Less than 7 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment.
Cancellations/Refunds: Requests for cancellations must be received in writing at the chapter office. Confirmed students should not assume that cancellation has been granted until a confirmation has been received. The South Florida Chapter of the Appraisal Institute is not responsible for students' non-refundable airline reservations or other travel expenses. The Chapter reserves the right to cancel, limit, or reschedule the program and to change faculty assignments and facility locations at any time.

Required Equipment: Some classes require you to bring a laptop and or other equipment. Be sure to read the class description to determine if any equipment is required. You are responsible for bringing your equipment, none will be provided. Please safeguard your equipment and personal belongings at all times. The Appraisal Institute, the South Florida Chapter, the Instructor or the facility will not be responsible for the loss of your personal belongings.

Course Attendance-Don’t be late: One hundred percent (100%) attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. This follows Appraiser Qualification Board minimum criteria requirements. Students should not be late or leave early. If you are late or leave early you will not receive credit.
