  Description  
ARGUS Enterprise (AE), ARGUS training and certification programs can help you achieve your goals. All of our courses feature real-world scenarios and hands-on case studies. In a matter of hours you will strengthen your business and become more efficient utilizing ARGUS products as your commercial real estate solution. Our training program is designed for new-to-intermediate users of ARGUS Enterprise or anyone who will be responsible for entering leases, budgets, market assumptions or valuation and yield parameters on a repetitive basis. The modules that are covered in the course includes Cash Flow, Repertoire Reporting and Sensitivity Analysis. Courses concentrate on practical applications of the software through interactive examples and case studies. Participants are exposed to a large cross section of the software's capabilities, fundamentals and unique nuances

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this two-day course, students will be able to:
• Create a portfolio and property from scratch
• Enter expenses in the Operating and Capital Expenses sub-tabs
• Enter tenant information in the Tenants – Rent Roll sub-tab
• Enter market assumptions in the Market – Market Leasing sub-tab
• Create Detailed Recovery Structures
• Create Debt Structures
• View & Analyze Reports
• Perform Sensitivity Scenarios
• Complete Case Study Models
• Minimize the cycle time for analyzing complex real estate transactions
• Determine the optimal holding period/sales date for portfolio assets
• Measure the impact of a potential transaction on the portfolio
• Compare alternative investments and performing complex sensitivity analysis
• Effectively communicate transaction assumptions and deal terms with market constituents

It is the student’s responsibility to install & test the provided software licenses 2 days prior to the seminar. The software will be provided to you in the future prior to class. A three month AE product key will be emailed to attendees prior to class dates. MAC users will need to have an emulator installed (bootcamp or parallels) in order for AE to be compatible.

Minimum Hardware Requirements:
- Laptop PC
- CPU: 2GHz or higher
- RAM: 4GBs or higher
- Disk: 2GBs available space
- OS: Windows 7 or higher
- Other: .NET Framework 4.5.2
- MAC Users: Must have an emulator installed for AE to be compatible.

Cancellation Policy
  • Up To 15 days prior to program start date, $50.00 cancellation fee.
  • 7 - 14 days prior to program start date, $100.00 cancellation fee.
  • Less than 7 days prior to program start date, forfeit of payment.
  Transfer Policy
  • Up To 15 days prior to program start date, no transfer fee.
  • 7 - 14 days prior to program start date, $50.00 transfer fee.
  • Less than 7 days prior to program start date, no transfer allowed.

Enrollment Cancellation Policy:
If a student wishes to cancel enrollment, a cancellation notice must be submitted in writing via email sbrockway@aiatlanta.org. A confirmation of the cancellation will be e-mailed to the student once it is processed by the Chapter office. See course details regarding cancellation fees. This confirmation will serve as your receipt.


Program materials will be picked up at the site.

Upon completion of your registration, you will receive an enrollment confirmation/receipt via e-mail. Look out for the e-mail and save it for future reference via a printout or save to your smartphone.

ATTENDANCE POLICY:
To receive credit, 100% attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. Students should not be late or leave early. If they are late or leave early, they will not receive credit. The Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board requires 100% attendance. Partial credit is not awarded.
