  Description
Join us for three hours of interactive discussion about trends and recent developments in multifamily housing and the housing crisis. Hear different perspectives on SB608 (aka the “rent control bill”) and its impact on landlords, property managers, tenants, and property values. Get an update on Portland’s inclusionary housing requirement, its basis, intentions and its actual impact to date. Hear a local developer’s perspective on development trends/barriers to entry, and learn about project-level challenges. Find out what’s new in affordable housing and learn about governmental interventions and political wrangling as it relates to the housing crisis. One of our presentations will also focus on trends in the “small plex” segment, general market conditions, case studies, and investor expectations within this segment. Seminar hours are 2-5pm at the Old Church at McMenamins in Wilsonville. After the seminar we will have our social on the mezzanine level of the restaurant. The price includes the three hour seminar and social. We will have a no host bar at the social.
