General Appraiser Sales Comparison Approach
is an in-depth look at this valuation analysis method. It begins with detailed discussions of property comparability, techniques used to gather and verify data for a subject property, and use of this data in selecting appropriate comparable properties and neighborhoods for analysis in the approach. The course explores ways to sort and analyze data and effectively apply certain statistical analysis tools. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of comparable sales using units and elements of comparison is approached through extensive practice problems, case studies, and lecture.

• Laptops are NOT REQUIRED.
• A financial calculator is required. The accepted model used in the course is the HP-12C.
Cellular phones, tablets, iPads, and other devices that connect to the Internet are NOT permitted during the exam.

• You must be familiar with calculator operation when the course begins. Answers to problems in course material are shown using the HP-12C. Do not come to class expecting to be taught how to use a financial calculator.

National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) Course, 15-Hour
Students must sign a waiver at the beginning of the course stating that they have the prerequisites. If they do not, they will not hold the Appraisal Institute responsible and will not expect to receive special attention during the course.

Course enrollment and cancellation policy ENROLLMENT POLICY: Your enrollment form and payment by check or online registration must be received by the chapter office at least 10 days prior to the start of each course to receive materials. No registrations will be guaranteed by mail 10 days or less before the start of the course. We cannot accept walk-in students. CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations must be received in writing. There is a 10% cancellation fee up to 8 days before the course start date. No refund for cancellations within 8 days of 1st class, unless student replacement is found . The chapter reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any program, and to change faculty assignments if necessary. If you missed the deadline, you can be put on a waiting list, by e-mailing the chapter office- email@example.com. If you have a disability and may require some form of accommodation, please notify us in writing at least 2 weeks in advance and we will arrange for reasonable accommodation.
