  Description
This seminar will address Blockchain, the technology behind cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. Cryptocurrencies all rely on the foundational technology known as Blockchain. This technology relies upon a system of “ledgers” used to record financial transactions, and takes it to a new level, which is completely decentralized. A Blockchain ledger system is distributed over a peer to peer network in which all financial transactions can be tracked. The real estate industry is entering the era of big data and Blockchain technology will be a part of how appraisers interact with that data in the future.
A brief question and answer period is provided.
