  Description  
This half-day program will provide an overview of the local real estate market and discuss the trends, changes and impact on the real estate development in Northern Nevada. Industry experts will provide their insights and offer panel discussions focusing on the land, industrial, single-family, and multi-family sectors.

CONTINUING EDUCATION/CERTIFICATES
The 2019 Northern Nevada Real Estate Overview is approved by the Nevada Commission of Appraisers for five (5) hours of appraisal continuing education credit (CE.0009236-A); the Nevada Real Estate Division on behalf of the Nevada Real Estate Commission for five (5) hours general continuing education credit (SE.1006000-RE) and Appraisal Institute Members, Candidates, Practicing Affiliates, Affiliates will receive five (5) hours of Appraisal Institute continuing education credit.

The 2019 Northern Nevada Real Estate Overview is pending approval by:

  • Property Tax (Assessor) credit for five (5) hours
Attendance certificates will be distributed at the end of the day at the Overview program.

100% attendance is required for continuing education credit, which includes the lunch session. Partial credit is not available.

CANCELLATIONS
Requests for cancellation must be received in writing at the Chapter Office. The Chapter reserves the right to cancel, limit, or reschedule the seminar and to change faculty assignments and facility location at any time; therefore, prospective students should confirm their registration prior to making any non-refundable airline reservations. The Appraisal Institute, Nevada Chapter is not responsible for students’ non-refundable airline reservations or other travel costs.

There are NO transfers; you must cancel out of the seminar.

ATTENDANCE POLICY
The Appraisal Institute enforces attendance requirements mandated by state licensing and certification regulatory agencies. The Appraisal Institute issues certificates for state certification/licensing or state continuing education credit that verify successful completion and attendance of 100% with your grade notification letter for courses, or at the conclusion of seminars. One hundred percent (100%) attendance is required for all Appraisal Institute education programs. This follows Appraiser Qualifications Board minimum criteria requirements.
